Remarkably attractive slime

I left some rain water in a jug on my balcony. It was warm and algae happened. It's making gas - either respiration or photosynthesis is happening (or both)

I did try making it into a design in 3 color ways at Spoonflower- not with the black background though, because when used in large proportions black becomes a dull grayish black on Spoonflower's inkjet printing.

I just sent off for proofs, will see what happens. It may be too finicky.. shall see. This is the gray version- I scaled it small to find out how the details would work. Larger would be better, I'm sure. I'll change it after I see the proofs.
