I did some cowboy hats for the outfits I did last Saturday. It took longer than I thought as my hats came out like trilbies and then I had to work out how to get them to sit on the paper dolls heads.

I'm having a day off from commenting today except that, as we discussed this before, I have to tell you I love those cowboy hats. Those little paper tabs are taking me back to memories of my childhood incompetence with scissors, lol.

They look properly like cowboy hats now, very Western! One for the good guy and one for the baddie?

I had a crummy sort of day and didn't draw anything. But I did honour my aesthetic sense with the impulse purchase of some stripy socks in my new favourite colour, because my tastes are allowed to change and I'm allowed to indulge them.

Fun! The way I always did it was I made the hats with excess on the bottom & then cut a slit across to stick the doll's head in. ;^)

Stripey SOX are love. I have a whole bucket full I got at the thrift store years ago and every once in a while I go look at them just for the pretty.

Thank you! I did them all in one piece. I was determined to do it as cutting tiny strips of tape would have been too fiddly.
