*whew* I had to go out for 2 hours, and when I returned I was so tired I took a nap. BUT! Luckily I had previously begun a doodle, so I had something to start with.

Very nice! I like the bluegrey background best, but the black would be an idea background for a creepy comic about Edwardians doing dark things.

I had to give up partway. I was just melting, and even coming in and drinking Kool-Aid after every bucketful of dug up weeds wasn't enough.

*sigh* Have to go back... I don't want to...but the WEEDS, OMG, Little Shop of Crabgrass Horrors...

Maybe you could start a new garden trend for weeds instead?

Hah. I *already* nurture at least 3 kinds of weeds/volunteer plants that butterflies like.

But crabgrass is not one of them.

This is a very noble and wonderful design - not only for damask but possibly for brocate or other rich fabric, worth the queen or king!

Damask can refer to a particular fabric, or to the type of image (roughly diamond shaped motifs, with one side the mirror image of the other, fitting together closely but with a slight space between motifs).

Spoonflower prints on uncolored fabric, whereas a true damask's pattern is created from colored threads woven into it. So at best Spoonflower could have a white damask (they don't).

Would be nice if they did have a damask- it's a very luxurious feeling fabric due to the weave.
