I'm not sure pearls with that shape would be convincing. :^)

Pearls are usually round, slightly oblong, or if 'baroque' then they're the bumpy odd shaped variety like clumped rice.

If I made a design with circles I might be able to pearlize it. Hmm... maybe.

My pearl attempts were ugly and dull, but I found I could make 'mother of pearl' (that's the colored interior of the shell) that I liked.

Yes! Well I did realise that pearls are not the best for such a design (but good for a nice necklace, hahaha)! This mother of pearl design though is lovely!!! You are amazing!
