Jury duty starts for me tomorrow, must get up before dawn to get to the courthouse on time... dunno what will happen. Will at least be *thinking* art. :^)

Good luck with the jury duty. When I did mine there were no cases for us and I spent the days reading.

Thank you! Turned out it was a slow court day, and they eventually dismissed a bunch of us, with a certificate to show we'd served, so they can't get me back again in less than a year.

While I waited I doodled. :^)

Well, a year is the guaranteed minimum where if they DO call me, I can politely demur. Might be longer than that before my name comes up in whatever computerized lottery they use.

And now that I've done it, I have figured out the logistics & am comfortable in my ability to actually get there on time. :^)

Owls are fun to draw. :^) They have rather peopley faces.

They didn't need many people today, so a lot of us were just dismissed with thanks, go home, you've done your civic duty, thank you. YAY.
