Alone in the Void

I got the idea for this last night, as I was very sad because when I went to bed, nobody had posted anything to Day 1, and I felt very alone. So here we have some digital Abstract Expressionism.

You did a good job of conveying that emotion. I can definitely see that little dot travelling around looking for a friend. I like it.

This is the siphoner of light. She grows towards any light source, including florescent lights in the kitchen.

Blue Jay in pencil

Sorted out some of my photos to make it easier to decide what to do, and wound up drawing a blue jay. Took some post-production tweaking to adjust the blue to give at least a bit of the illusion of shimmer in the feathers.

I think a pair of them live nearby- I seldom get a chance to photograph them, but I do see and hear them.

E.J. Moeran lived next to the baptist chapel and apparently used to sing sea shanties loudly to try to drown out the congregation on a Sunday.
