I tried putting seaweed in this and it turned out awful, so I changed them into tentacles. Which are creepy.

Love the colors. My computer is being very very icky today, so don't know what's going on. Three restarts, clearing out cache and extra cookies. Still took several minutes just to open comment box. Will try another restart.

Actually did this last night, after midnight. Computer was so wonky today I just spent several hours restarting and clearing and trying to figure out what went wrong, so I'm behind on ReaLife stuff I need to so, so I'm counting late last night as today in case I can't get back to do something else.

Factoid- there were Lepidoptera (moths, maybe butterflies too) before there were flowering plants. They fed on pine sap/resin.

The dino looks so cool, and that fact is really fascinating

Thank you! I was just doodling curves, and when I had what looked like the back of a big quadruped Dino, I had to swoop the neck curve and tail curves up to fit in the workspace, and when I thought hey, birds have colored irises I gave it a red eye and it was looking at the tail, so I needed to give it something to look at. :^)

I thought this event would be fairly simple, since I already draw every day, but I realized that I hardly ever finish something in one day. So this will be a challenge. A good one though!
Anyway I drew this today: Star-Lord T'Challa from Marvel What If, as Kirby (thats a mouthful). Inspired by thinking of how similar a character type they are.

More doodling and then smoothing...I'm still testing that the computer is back to normal so spent a lot of time on something I wouldn't care if it crashed-- I have the feeling it wasn't really a problem with the computer, but instead something with google and the computer got locked into trying to get my gmail and was obsessively devoting nearly all its energy to it. After several hours and at least 6 restarts it seems back to normal. *fingers crossed*

So anyway, I wound up with another art today. Might as well share it.

No artwork today, but here is a photo of some of nature's art instead. It was very windy today, and some of these trees were swaying in the wind, making eerie creaking noises.
