Playing around with the "cell noise" filter again, inverting it so that I get bubbles rather than cells. And then spending far too much time making this image tileable -- well, it should be tileable, I haven't fully tested it.

Anyway, have some cheerful bubbles. Maybe it's faerie algae fermenting.

Rather cartoony, but cheerful.

Ballpoint pen, heightened with a little yellow, green, and brown colored pencil. Based on a photo I took a few years ago in a local park- this little black and white warbler ignores gravity- most the time it was perched upside down or sideways- in the photo this is based on, the branch aimed straight up and down, and the bird stuck out like a flag. :^)
