When I was asking about interesting molecules yesterday, scaratch suggested "soap". The chief ingredient of most common soaps is Sodium Stearate. So I made a molecule diagram for it (thanks to Wikipedia) using the graph-drawing program GraphViz.
I think this counts as Art because I made it to be used as a component of future Art, and I tweaked it so that it was Pleasing in Appearance.
Huh, you're right! I didn't notice that. I was trying to get it to go into an "S" shape but it wouldn't cooperate, so that was the next-best shape. So, yeah, the seahorse thing wasn't deliberate. Serendipity for the win!
