Washing on line! I started this yesterday but didn't finish it; it seemed to be something I wanted to take my time over and I had someone coming to my house.
I really wish I had a yellow T-shirt with a rainbow on it now! I do have some of these in real life: green long-sleeved top, green underpants, grey argyle socks, striped singlet... and orange flannel.
The top of the jeans is especially good, with the curve forwards at the back and the thre dimensionality of the fly, and you've even curved the belt loops. Well done!
Thank you, I wasn't sure I'd do all right at that - and unlike upside-down T-shirt sleeves, I didn't look at the real thing hanging up to see how it went, except to look down at the jeans I was wearing to figure out which side of the fly went in front.
I realised a short way into it that drawing washing is like hanging washing in real life: start by hanging out the bigger stuff, then put in whatever fits on the space that's left on the line!
I couldn't find this pugilistic Adam Bede dust jacket on t'interwebz so I decided to kill two Arthur Donnithornes with one stone and attempt to naart it with reflections, which didn't satisfactorily work but at least the cover image is clear. The arty bollocks generator says: "What starts out as yearning soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of greed, leaving only a sense of decadence and the chance of a new reality."
Thank you. It took me sooo long lining up all the various angles to frame the shot. I kept moving the camera a few millimetres in different directions until I achieved That'll Do.
Kiddie killings, witches, revolting peasants, ill use of decapitated heads, dead bodies bleeding, deaths, deaths and more deaths, nah, they're not that horrible;p
