I had to look again to figure out what was going on with the shape of the slide and its reflections in itself. It looks like she's on a cross-shaped surface, only perspective starts going the wrong way.
Okay, you will be amazed at this one. It's performance art today, all right? I went on an amazing outing and took a great many photos, at least a handful of them interestingly artistic, and kept taking photos until my aged camera wheezed out the last of its battery charge and folded up its lens for the day. There was no use carrying the camera around in my hand any longer, so I put it in my sister's backpack for safekeeping. She's on her way back to another city, unaware that she has all my artistic output with her. So until next time we have a family get-together and I collect my camera, none of you can see the lovely pictures I took, and photography is out of the running as an art form for a while too.
This is not an unusual occurrence of forgetfulness for me, but the magnitude of the outcome skyrockets it to an outstanding level.
I applaud your outstanding achievement in the field of performance art and humbly suggest that it reminds me of the sort of plot propelling arty/comedic short films. :-D
Am v. sleepy today and reading fanfic- found a long story in which Natasha Romanov (from Avengers) is turned into an orange tabby cat. So I drew her. ;^) Click for full size version in new page.
This is an experiment, rendered entirely in Microsoft Paint's 'Black and White' setting (remember when that was all Paint was? That was the days when all printers were dot matrix, and you could only write in one font).
I find that image, with the reliance on texture rather than colour, very appealing. I think it looks like a quilt, with patterned fabrics and stitching.
My work explores the relationship between zeitgeist and multimedia experiences
